Common Folk propaganda was used to convince people that thoughts or ideas are "of the people." different forms of common folk propaganda depended on where it was. Urban areas were the main region of the production of war goods for the United States military during WWII. With lots of cars, businesses, and factories, propaganda might tell you to form a carpooling group with friends and family in order to save gas, or tell business owners to sell and donate supplies to the army because everyone anyone can. In rural areas, farms grew crops that were essential to feeding soldiers at war. Propaganda in these areas showed common farmers with smiling faces giving food to hungry soldiers, and sending live stock to be eaten by a wounded soldier. To the left, two German workers do there job in order to make there leader, Adolf Hitler, proud of there support.
